why some time sites urls disappear from the google search search?

Any body have an idea that why some time sites URLs disappear from the Google search result for a particular keyword? But after few days it backs to normal?

I am trying to finding the solution, so far I could get the idea that this happens due to server update.

It's called Google dance when your website disappeared all of a sudden from SERP and you can't do anything about it, but it should stop after a few weeks.

Do you mean to say that the link that you see on the search list will vanish later in that same search list when it is dancing? What kind of phenomenon is dancing and what causes it? My take is you should do a search using 3 search engines and compare the results. If it is only Google that gives a different result on the second search (of the same keyword) then I guess it is caused by that dancing that you are saying.

You could call it a server update yes! Because Google is just a collection of many hundreds of different servers. Or in this case datacenters that hold information about the websites they've found, crawled and indexed on the Internet. They share that information with other datacenters so that they all have it. As that's happening, your rankings can fluctuate in the Google SERPs and go from one rank to another, lose lots of rank and then come back again overnight. It's like it's dancing almost and so it's coined the "Google Dance". The Google Dance is a good thing though! If your page or site is dancing around in the rankings for a couple days, it means that Google is updating all it's datacenters and will apply a new ranking position to your site accordingly. Usually when it pans out, you end up with a better ranking position. At least that's what my experience with it is most of the time. Sometimes you can drop from where you was before after the dancing has stopped. But usually you get better ranking and it would probably be due to the recent SEO or backlinks that you've recently built to it.
